Hello. I'm glad you're here. My 7th-grade teacher selected me to be a peer counselor, and from then on I knew I had discovered my future career. After graduating from Mercer University in 2012 with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I’ve worked in hospitals, schools, and various mental health settings all to prepare to offer psychotherapy in private practice.

My years of work in acute mental healthcare have given me a deep understanding of the spectrum of mental health. I have years of experience counseling, assessing, diagnosing, and matching people with the appropriate level of mental healthcare. I put a high priority on collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide my clients with quality healthcare.

Over the years, I’ve witnessed the negative impacts of trauma on mental health. I’ve refocused my efforts to treat trauma and help people heal from traumatic events. I’m enrolled in a three-year training program called Somatic Experiencing which “provides a rich theoretical framework for understanding and addressing trauma physiology.” For more information about this program, you can visit https://traumahealing.org/enrolled-students/.

When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, hiking, traveling, cooking, yoga, and watching stand-up comedy. I love to laugh. :)

I enjoy my work, and I’m honored to work with all clients. I believe that a richer more satisfying life comes from tending to your mental health. Please contact me if you think I can help you.
