Hello. I’m glad you’re here. My journey toward becoming a therapist began in 7th grade when my teacher selected me as a peer counselor, and I realized this was my true calling. After earning my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University in 2012, I have worked extensively in hospitals, schools, and various mental health settings to prepare me for my private practice in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

As a therapist in Colorado Springs, I value offering high-quality therapy & great results! I have gained valuable experience in acute mental healthcare, leading to a comprehensive understanding of the mental health spectrum. I specialize in counseling, assessing, diagnosing, and connecting individuals with the appropriate levels of mental healthcare. Collaboration with other healthcare professionals is a priority for me, ensuring that my clients receive quality support.

Through my years of practice, I have witnessed the profound effects of trauma on mental health and have focused my efforts on treating trauma and facilitating healing. I completed a training program in Somatic Experiencing (SE™), which provides a robust framework for understanding and addressing trauma physiology.

Outside of my practice, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, hiking the beautiful landscapes of Colorado, traveling, cooking, practicing yoga, and watching stand-up comedy. I truly love to laugh and find joy in life.

I am dedicated to my work and feel honored to support my clients. I believe that nurturing mental health is essential for a richer and more fulfilling life. If you are looking for a great therapist in Colorado Springs, I invite you to reach out and see how I might assist you on your journey.
